Visit Santa Claus in his Grotto and enjoy the festive fun experiences, guided by our magical elves through our winter wonderland. Then enjoy a delicious warming hot chocolate with marshmallows.

Stroll along Heidi Strasse and enjoy our Christmas themed games*.

A full range of drinks plus hot and cold snacks and amazing Bubble Waffles are available from the café bar at the Grotto and the Ice Lounge. We also have a fully licensed bar where adults can enjoy a chilled glass of wine, beer or perhaps a warming glass of spiced mulled wine to chase away the winter chills.

This year, included in your Grotto ticket is a ride on Alice in Wonderland**, an enchanting trip through the looking glass in your very own Cheshire Cat carriage. Complete your visit to the Grotto with this fantasy experience.

The Grotto Guest Experience

When booking online you will book a half an hour time slot. You will see Santa within this time.
With more this year to explore, we suggest that you should allow at least an hour for your whole experience.
You will arrive through the Entrance via Watson Road Tunnel and will be greeted by a member of staff to check your booking information.
You will then be greeted outside the Grotto at the door by an Elf. You will queue outside the Grotto before you enter.
Your group will enter the Grotto where the Elf will show you to Santa’s office where he will be sitting behind his desk going through the naughty and nice list.
There will be up to 3 min for each group with Santa. Children with Grotto tickets will receive a gift in a gift bag and you will also have a photo opportunity at this point.
After seeing Santa you then make your way through the winter wonderland in the Christmas Grotto where you will meet Miss Xmas Eve and Papa Elf who will add a ‘Do It Yourself’ bauble making kit and ‘Magic Reindeer Food’ & a ‘Magic Key’ to the children’s gift bag.
Then you will arrive in the Christmas Shop area where you can browse and if you have pre-booked or would like to ‘Make Your Own Bear’ you can do this here! You can also purchase your professional photo of Santa if you like.
You will then go into the Bubble Waffle Café, where you can purchase a Christmas Bubble Waffle and other festive treats to take away and enjoy!
You then exit through the Bubble Waffle Café out into the park.
Make sure you head over to the Ice Lounge cafe where you get your free hot drink, which will be open serving a range of hot and cold drinks, snacks, Krispy Kreme donuts with a fully licenced bar.

Get ready for an enchanting trip through the looking glass in your very own Cheshire Cat carriage on the Alice In Wonderland ride.**
Don’t forget to visit the Wonderland Shop full of toys, gifts and souvenirs.
When you are ready to leave, you exit the Grotto Wonderland past the Arena and back out into Watson Road tunnel.

**Each Grotto ticket includes – One child entry to the Grotto and meet Santa, one free gift suitable for young children, one hot chocolate and one ride on Alice in Wonderland. Each child may be accompanied by a maximum of two adults per booking in the Grotto. Additional adults must pay the Grotto entry price.

Only one adult may accompany the child on the Alice in Wonderland Ride. Additional adult tickets may be purchased. Time slots are in 30 min intervals, you will see Santa within this time and still be able to explore the Grotto and enjoy the other experiences. To guarantee entry to the Grotto we recommend you book in advance online. Online bookings can be made up until midnight the day before your visit. The Alice In Wonderland ride is subject to operational availability.
